FOR SALE
1990 Audi 100 avant turbo quattro

So, the time has finally come, after 23 years of ownership and custodianship, to sell my very rare Audi 100 Avant Turbo Quattro.

For those always wanting UR Quattro, the sound of that Turbo charged 5 cylinder engine, planted with its permanent 4 wheel drive, (Inc lock diff to 15mph) and harking back to the golden years of Audi, have you ever thought about something even rarer?

Something more unique?
Something even more special?
Something that would cost you 50% less than a good UR?

It could be argued that you have never seen a car like this, as from 1989 to 1991 Audi UK imported only 5 of these models.
All different specs, but all Avants.
Remember, this is a 100, not the more common 200 series model.

This is a true sleeper car, in every sense!

All the modern stuff from say 1995 onwards are all based on this ‘development’ car from Audi to the UK market.

At £47k, Audi soon realised that the Brits in c1990 has no money for such luxury, even though it had a CD of 0.3!! (Remember the ad on your 20” Sony TV??)

The advertisement's we now see today on Instagram, Facebook, are for the modern S2’s, RS4’s, RS6’s, but they were all based on this technology and engineering systems of the Turbo / 4x4, / UR/C3 model types.

If you want the real deal, then I’m giving somebody a very limited chance and opportunity to purchase this very rare and unique car.

The car itself was my daily driver from 2000 to 2016.

I bought it at 92k miles and at 2016 it was at 169k miles, driven without any issues, still on its original clutch, perfect gearbox etc.

The servicing is 100% there, the main works have been done, including oil / filter servicing every couple of 1000 miles, Cam belt, water pump etc, courtesy of our Club Audi Secretary - Mr Dave Harrison, with the car then being put in full retirement from 2016 to date, and it now registers 173k miles.

It has been stored in an air conditioned garage, under cover, on an optimate, only coming out for local Club-Audi Shows, including the NEC classic car shows.

One Club-Audi pilgrimage visit to Inglostad, Germany in 2018, some 2500 miles journey, to the Audi Museum. Cruising without any issues at up to 120mph on the de-restricted autobahns,

This car has had a new wing fitted in 2006 and full respray in 2007 and is still in excellent condition.

The galvanised shell/body are in stunning condition and the underside looks like new.

The interior is in excellent condition, although now showing signs of the classic C3 headlining, dash issues, and seat bolster wearing, which are open for negotiation to the chosen person.

The bodywork is in excellent condition, sitting 30mm lower on Wietec suspension & RS4 wheels. The brakes have been updated with slotted discs and the obligatory painted (Red) callipers. A full stainless steel exhaust completes the looks and soundtrack.

The car is in beautiful condition, starts on the button and had regular yearly set-up sessions with the one and only Mr Phil Payne (RIP), so is in prime running condition.

Once up to water and oil temperature she absolutely flies when required, for a period car, but could be used as a daily driver, if required, but however you drive her she has the soundtrack of an angel!!!

FOR SALE
1987 Audi COUPE GT

Paul Whatley is selling the Zermatt silver 1987 2.2 litre 5 cylinder Audi Coupé GT that was owned by his late father. Paul tells us: "He bought the car in 1989 and has used it ever since as his daily driver but with failing health his use became less and less. Regrettably my father died a few months ago and my mother now finds herself with his car. My brother and I are both car enthusiasts but have our own vehicles and this much loved and cherished car needs to go to a good and caring home.

It is a genuine two owner car from new with around 85,000 miles on the clock and has been garaged all of its life. It has not had any restoration work undertaken and is therefore in original condition with some stone chips and marks but no corrosion. It has a full MOT (expires june 2024) and is taxed and roadworthy."

There are only a handful of these cars still roadworthy and original and Paul is keen for his father's car to go to an enthusiast who will cherish it as his father did.

Based on a Club Audi valuation Paul is looking to sell for around £8000 however he is very open to offers as it needs to go to the right home. If you're interested please contact Paul at pjwhatley0@gmail.com or 07979 187287.

The car is available for viewing in the Chandlers Ford area.
