The internet is a great place to sell your car but beware there are many scams about. Sometimes the scam is obvious but at other times it is not. A common scam (which is not unique to the internet by the way) is the offer to buy your car for more than the asking price. The scammer may offer to pay using a bankers draught or cheque. This scam works because of the little know fact that both bankers draughts and cheques can be cancelled even AFTER the money has cleared into your account, sometimes up to six months after! BEWARE, you will loose both your car and your money.
Our best advice is to be cautious. The number one rule is that if it appears too good to be true then it always is.

100 Turbo quattro Saloon. 1991 H-Reg Pearlescent white, full grey leather, heated front seats, climate control, electric sunroof, electric windows, electric heated mirrors, on board computer, ski load-through in boot, Panasonic radio/cassette. 183,000 miles but in very good condition. Engine runs perfectly, had overhaul carried out to cylinder head and turbo at 153,000. MOT to October 2007. This is one of the last six of the saloons to come to the UK and has a higher than normal specification. New at nearly £30,000.
